Yana was an absolute delight to have performed at our wedding ceremony. Having played music myself back in my days of Middle and High school, I am used to classical songs being played in a certain style and she was everything we envisioned for our big day. She even invited us to her home to decide what kind of songs we'd like to hear, including jazz and modern songs, and was very accommodating to our needs. We even gave her sheet music for my wife's bridal march as it was something Yana had never played before and it was absolutely flawless and beautiful as if it were part of her normal repertoire. We would love to hire her again for our future events!

Yana is an extremely talented pianist. She played all the music at my wedding ceremony. I came to her with very specific music requests and she exceeded my expectations. For songs I did not have sheet music for she played them by ear. It was absolutely perfect. I highly recommend her for any occasion.

Yana is a talented pianist. However, I was planning my wedding from overseas and asked Yana if she would like me to pay her beforehand, and she declined saying she would collect payment the day of the wedding. The day of the wedding when she arrived, Yana proceeded to come up to me while we were lined up to walk down the aisle and ask for payment. I had to send her to my fiance, where the groomsmen were lined up to go to the altar as well. I found this to be highly unprofessional and quite rude. I also paid for 3 hrs of service and she played maybe 39 mins. She didnt even play during the few minutes our ceremony was held up created an awkward silence.

The reason I told Misty she didn't have to pay me in advance because I thought that its not convenient to her, just wanted to make her life easier (I didn't decline it) and I told her in advance: the payment will need to be made before the ceremony but she didn't arrange it. Our deal was that I play during the ceremony for $200 and bring my full size piano for extra $100, but for some reason Misty is not mentioning that at all. After I set up the piano I was playing while guests are being seated, I stopped playing when I saw the groom at the altar, I was expecting the bride come out any minute so I can play wedding march. Misty's review is very hurtful and not true.

Yana was a pleasure to work with. She arrived on time, was dressed professionally, had an outstanding, upbeat attitude and played beautifully. I requested classical Russian music to go with the theme of the evening and she provided exactly what was requested. I had a number of guests comment on the wonderful music and how it enhanced the event. I have booked Yana for two more events based on her performance and will continue to work with her in the future as the need arises.
