twist violin and piano duo Classical Duo from Buffalo, NY

twist duo is an elegant, yet fresh violin and piano duo available for weddings, parties, and other special events. We play mostly classical music, however, our goal is to design a program of music which integrates a variety of styles and contains both familiar and less-well-known music. A wedding reception may include Schubert's 'Ave Maria,' Pachelbel's 'Kanon in D,' the Beatles' 'Here, There, and Everywhere,' and Rachmaninoff's 'Vocalise.' We play not only music written for violin and piano, but our own arrangements of opera arias, art songs, and orchestral repertoire. We are passionate about spending as much time as you desire in consultation, either by phone or in person, to be sure that we can provide the best possible music for your event. In addition to our extensive list of repertoire, we are able to find and arrange nearly any special song you would like to have included, and are also able to accompany other musicians you may have performing (e.g. a singer at a wedding ceremony). We have individually and together played professionally for fourteen years. Autumn has a Master's degree from the Eastman School of Music, and Eric has a piano performance degree from the University of Puget Sound.
