Robert McCallion: Bagpipes for all Occasions Celtic Bagpiper from Fort Worth, TX

Bringing the sound of traditional Scottish and Irish tunes into any setting, makes an event one to remember. Whether your event is a wedding, funeral ceremony, corporate function, or just a party, the sound of the pipes is incredible. Having started piping at age 12, Robert has played with some of the best U.S. bagpipe bands and has had countless instruction from some of the world's finest instructors. Robert has played for many Heads of State and has opened for Rod Stewart twice. This past January, Robert performed with The Cheiftans when they came to the Bass Hall in Fort Worth. In 2001, Robert competed with the Lyon College Pipe Band, who took 2nd place at the World Pipe Band Championships in Glasgow, Scotland. This past year (2008), Robert was invited to play with the Silver Thistle Pipe Band at the World Championships in Scotland again. He has also competed all over the US and Canada and is currently Pipe Major of the Ballantyne Memorial Pipe Band. If a professional and unsurpassed performance is what you seek, look no further.
