Maywood Quartet exceeded all of our expectations for our wedding! They performed for 2 hours (pre-wedding, wedding and cocktail hour), took special song requests, were professional and thoughtful and kind. Their talent is something you'd expect from a group that is professional and has performed hundreds of times. They made an already very special event one that is certain to be unforgettable. We had the honor of having the Maywood String Quartet play during our wedding and cocktail hour. They were amazing in both settings. Our guests continue to rave about their talent and quality of music selection. We found the group extremely accommodating and a real pleasure to work with. Matt helped guide us with ceremony song selection and advice regarding transition music. Watching and enjoying their performance made it very clear that we made an excellent selection with choosing them. It was probably the best money we spent on the whole wedding. We would recommend them for a wedding, formal occasion or any other event where beautiful music is desired.

What made this event challenging for me was that I was not actually in the wedding party (just the groom's mother's boyfriend) so I knew very few details about the procession and bride's desires. Maywood was able to help figure things out so the timing of the ceremony went perfect. I love that they covered the Turtles' Happy Together!

They were incredible. They played beautifully and added just exactly what we wanted for the wedding. I received a lot compliments from our guests about them. They all said they were great and loved listening to them playing. Besides from playing three specific songs that were requested for the ceremony, their combination of classical and contemporary was great. Perfection!

Sadly, being the bride and being very busy with preparation and getting dressed for the ceremony, I didn't get to enjoy the quartet as much as I would have liked. In fact, I didn't hear anything they played except what I requested as I walked down the aisle, Pachelbel's Canon. But what I did hear was beautiful and many guests that were at the ceremony commented about their music and how their presence added a lot of elegance to the whole program.

We had many compliments on Maywood's performance. They were professional and excellent in talent. They were a bit difficult to get a hold of, all other vendors contacted us, whereas four days before the ceremony we were still trying to touch base with them about songs and such. Minor headache, but the talent and flawlessness of the performors made it easy to forget. I would recomend them, and would utilize them again for any other quartet need.

Very good. My lower marks on professionalism are because at times it was a little difficult to get calls back (though in their defense I was calling months ahead of the gig to arrange details so they may have had more pressing issues). All in all very happy with the gig!

I hired the Maywood Quartet (trio in this case) for a private party to help celebrate my parent's anniversary. They were careful to arrive and be ready on time, even though I live in a distant semi-rural area. I told them after they were finished that they filled the house with joy. My guests could not praise them enough. Fantastic! Highly recommended.
