Harpist for weddings, including traditional, theme weddings, church, outdoor, Celtic, sacred, popular and Broadway. Also play for receptions, corporate events, birthdays, anniversaries, funerals, teas, restaurants etc. I play on a concert grand pedal harp for most occasions, but have Celtic harps and do play at hospitals and for hospice patients. In addition I teach children and adults (age 6 to 70s) in my home just southwest of Charlotte. I am trained in Suzuki method for young children, and traditional Salzedo method for older children and adults. For a wedding, I arrive one hour early to move and tune the harp, to be comfortably ready to play 30 minutes of prelude music while the guests are seated. The music for seating the mothers, a processional for the bridal party, and a different one for the bride. During the ceremony, there can be music for a Unity candle of sand ceremony, a love song or the 'Lord's Prayer', or accompany a vocalist. Another option is harp and violin, or harp and flute. At the end of the ceremony, there is a recessional for the bridal party to leave, and continuous music until the guests leave the area.
