Joanna and Anna started their musical training at age 10 in Poland.
They were born in 1977. They met at a music class in High School, became best friends and continue to perform together in the USA. Both got their Masters Degree at the Academy of Music in Wroclaw,Poland.
While studying, they participated in many national competitions, as well as international competitions and concerts in Germany, France,
England and Italy.
The duo performs under the name "POLISHED". They love people,are themselves very personable,have very good English, but still retaining the charming homeland accent, enjoyed by many. They have played in several Chicagoland venues, some with many repeat performances. Their large repertoire(partial list of 492 on website), includes a variety of Classical, Jazz, Broadway standards, Pop, Movie Soundtracks and traditional Old World music. Hours of no repeat entertainment,at it's BEST!!

Joanna and Anna were fantastic to work with and were perfect for our wedding. We added a singer at the last minute and they accommodated the change easily and came to the wedding early to set-up and practice. They are extremely talented and our guests commented positively on their music and friendly personalities.
I would highly recommend them for any musical need you would have.
