A singer with an extraordinary range of styles: a classical opera soprano with New York City Opera for 19 years, raised on classic rock and pop! Comfortable with any style of church music, from Roman Catholic liturgy, to Episcopalian to folk and spirituals. A quick learner with a good ear for jazz or modern music. I'm available for weddings, funerals, celebrations, dinners and can get together a combo for dinner music. Please note, I prefer to sing the wedding service and/or the cocktail hour instead of the reception. I also am a regular National anthem singer for the Mets, Devils and minor league baseball's NJ Jackals, with over 25 appearances. I have performed at Giants Stadium and sung the Anthem for Governors, Mayors, bicentenials, special events and groundbreaking ceremonies.

Janet was unbelievable. She arrived to my event early and set up without anyone even knowing she was there. When she sang to my mother there was not a dry eye in the house. My mother left the party in awe of Janet's voice. Everyone complimented me and mentioned how fabulous she was.

This talented and lovely lady "made" my birthday party. She came with keyboard player and bass. Music was just what I had asked for and perfect in every way. All my guests were raving about her music. She has a lovely, lovely voice. My party would have been a "dud" without her!!! I would recommend her to anyone in a heartbeat. Janet Villas has an amazing voice, she is very quick to respond to e-mails and is extremely helpful and knowledgeable with song selection and overall wedding planning. I would recommend Janet to everyone I know and love and any new bride I meet, she alone made my wedding ceremony beyond perfect. I would love to have another "party" just to have Janet there again. Janet was an amazing part of my wedding ceremony and I will never forget her and I will definatly work with her again.
