My piping career began at the age of 11 when I met my teacher Pipe Major Thomas Shearer. His professional instruction has given me the skills to compete in competitions all over the United States and in Great Britain. I was asked to play at the Vietnam Memorial Wall in Washington D.C. at the age of 13 and began playing weddings at 15 years of age. In 2001, I competed with the Lyon College Pipe Band and came in 2nd place at the World Pipe Band Championships in Glasgow, Scotland. In recent years I've performed for singer Rod Stewart in Dallas, Texas and for Carolyn Kennedy in West Palm Beach. Give your event that lasting impression.
