Allegro Flute and Guitar Acoustic Duo Acoustic Duo from Atlantic City, NJ

Dear Bride or Event coordinator, Hi, I am Geri Rizzo, flutist in the "Allegro Duo", flute and guitar. John Oelkers plays the guitar. We not only play classical music, but beloved show tunes, movie themes, classic rock and top 40 hits... It depends on your heart's desire, and I will work with you to get all the right music! For weddings, we arrive one hour early, set up, then play 1/2 prelude music.  The ceremony then starts, and we perform processionals for the Moms (if wanted); the bridal party and the bride.  If there is a unity candle service or any other during the ceremony, we play for that; then the recessionals ensue.  For the cocktail hour, we play light classical, standards, and movie themes. We provide our own amplification, and for the beach use battery operated amps. Bottom line, we sound beautiful!  Just listen... I am primarily a classical flutist, but I can play anything by ear when I hear it as well as read music. I studied with the great flutists of the Golden Age and attended New England Conservatory of music on a full scholarship..I have played Bach to Rock, in orchestras and rock bands. John Oelkers, my guitar partner is originally from Northern NJ where he played with many popular rock bands as well as in pit orchestras. John does the arranging, and also can play anything, even classical. People really love our playing together. I have told that I am personable, professional and very easy to deal with.
