I have played solo violin for many, many, small weddings - outside, by the oak tree, on the patio or lake etc...I can also organize a string trio (violin, viola, cello) or quartet (2 violins, viola, cello) for larger wedding ceremonies. Often, for smaller intimate weddings, I play violin with a classical guitarist. You may have seen me play at the Peabody Hotel, Hilton Hotel, Botanic Gardens, Brooks Museum of Art, and nearly all regional bed and breakfast places, and almost every church in the Memphis and Midsouth. I played violin in the following shows at the Orpheum Theatre (Memphis) from 1984 - 2006. Usually, we would do a 5 hour rehearsal in the lobby, an hour sound check in the pit, then a show that same night! Then 7 more shows that week...it paid around $1200 before deductions.
