The American Opera Studio is a not-for-profit organization comprised of professional members of classically trained singers. The studio has traveled world performing in venues from Ancient Castles and Cathedrals to a historic and haunted buildings during paranormal investigations. The studio has several entertainment components including:
Large Ensemble Classical Singing full show or selections in Opera, Broadway, Musical Theater, Art Song, Contemporary, Sacred, Wedding, or Secular pieces. The American Opera Studio will tailor the ensemble to your budget and needs. The Studio provides all instruments for accompaniment of the singers. Instruments including but not limited to: Piano, Organ, Harp, Strings, Woodwinds, Brass and Jazz Combo and Bagpipes are all available. Additional instruments may be available upon request. The large ensemble can provide music the singing for a broadway theater production or opera soloist or chorus which may be missing in your community. The group has performed for weddings, churches, festivals, musical theater, renaissance festivals, paranormal investigations, independent production of Cats the musical, The Macabre (an October performance of Macabre themed musical production), the Passport Series (an evening of culturally centered music and food), Fundraisers, International touring organizations and, of course, regional, national and international opera houses.
Small Ensembles and Solo Singers, Duets, Mixed Quartets or other combinations are available. A solo singer can provide the national anthem, a special wedding song, entertainment for a small group or meeting, a sacred special for a sacred celebration, and many more options.
Award winning Scottish Highland Bagpiper Available. The bagpiper can be used to open ceremonies, church celebrations, funerals and cultural events. The bagpiper won the Kansas City Renaissance Festival Scottish Highlands Games weekend.
The Jazz Combo is comprised of a female renowned singer, bass guitar, Drums and Jazz Piano. This group is perfect for corporate events, fundraisers, parties, or wedding receptions.
Large and small ensembles are willing to travel worldwide based upon the proper bid and budget.
The Director of the studio is Dr. Bill Hall. He is a classically trained Baritone that was awarded the Doctoral Achievement award at Conservatory of Music at the University of Missouri Kansas City. Many of the singers studying in the studio have sung and are continuing to sing on world stages including the Metropolitan Opera, Bulgarian National Opera, South American Opera.
