Julie Buck is a professional classically-trained vocalist who can enhance the loveliness of your corporate or private party, wedding ceremony, political event, or other special event with her music! She has performed a broad range of programs, including opera, musical theater, selections ranging from the Rat Pack era to contemporary, as well as patriotic and sacred songs.
Take the logistics off of your plate -- she can assemble a group of instrumentalists; or if on a budget, Julie can provide pre-recorded piano accompaniment. Based in Chicago, she is open to travel.
Julie has performed throughout the US and internationally. Performing highlights include three seasons at the Chicago Lyric Opera, Elgin Opera, Savoyaires Opera, guest artist with the Waukegan Symphony Chorus, and singing engagements at The White House, on the CBS Morning Show, the Governor's Mansion in Annapolis, MD, Sears Centre, Union League Club, and the Schloss Leopoldskron in Salzburg, Austria. She has also sung the National Anthem at the Baltimore Orioles game, the National ITA Championships, and for the 49th Annual National Small Business Association. Julie's studio work includes Emmie in "Albert Herring," company jingles, voice overs, and other recordings.
As a versatile artist, Julie has also acted in commercials, film and on stage. She is proud to have started her career as a part of the cast in "I Never Saw Another Butterfly," which raised funds for the construction of the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum in Washington, D.C.
