Bethany Worrell Classical Singer from Boston, MA

Hailed as performing with “a gorgeous and flexible soprano that revealed a large measure of dramatic intelligence and musical acumen,” soprano Bethany Worrell has performed in Boston, Pittsburgh, Chicago, Salzburg, Austria, and Florence, Italy. Recently, she was a Young Artist with Opera Theater of Pittsburgh, performing as Echo in their production of Ariadne on Naxos. In the Boston area, Ms. Worrell has sung with Opera del West, Longwood Opera, MetroWest Opera, and the North End Music and Performing Arts Center. When not singing opera, Ms. Worrell is the Soprano Artist-in-Residence with the Metroplitan Chorale of Brookline and also sings with the Boston Symphony Orchestra in the first soprano section of the Tanglewood Festival Chorus. She also serves as the Assistant Music Minister at the Union Church in Waban. In addition to singing classical repertoire, Ms. Worrell loves singing tunes from the American Songbook and Jazz repertoire. She also frequently gives salon-style house concerts and is happy to work with you to create a musical program that caters to your party's theme. Ms. Worrell was awarded the Master of Music degree in Vocal Performance with academic honors from the New England Conservatory of Music, and she holds a Bachelor of Music degree, summa cum laude, from Western Illinois University.
