The Briar Rose String Quartet is composed of professional string players with advanced degrees in music performance. We have received honors in ensemble playing and have studied with some of the greatest chamber artists of today, including the Guaneri String Quartet. We have achieved a level of versatility in performance that enables us to play as soloists, chamber artists, and orchestral musicians. Part of what makes the Briar Rose String Quartet unique is that we have played together for several years and possess the silent communication skills and unity of style necessary to create performances of the highest caliber. Though we specialize in weddings, we have provided music for every kind of special occasion including corporate events, funerals, and cocktail or dinner parties. We also offer duet, trio, or quartet bookings based on your budget or space requirements. We can help to make the event uniquely yours by creating just the atmosphere you desire from elegant classical to pop, swing, ragtime, religious or many more.
