Seamus McDaniel Guitar Classical Guitarist from Richmond, VA

Seamus McDaniel is a professional musician that specializes in both classical and electric guitar. A native Virginian, born and raised in the Loudoun County area, he has been playing the guitar for over a decade. Seamus currently resides in Richmond where he performs for weddings, events, conventions, and more. He is a graduate from Virginia Commonwealth University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music and has a well-established and diverse repertoire to cater to any event. His passion for music grew from his love of the technical sounds of the electric guitar and the genres of classic and progressive rock. When he reached high school, he became more focused on the classical guitar and facets of music. He excelled in performance and study and was invited to join various ensembles at the state and county level. He was a member of the All-Virginia Guitar Ensemble, Loudoun Youth Guitars, and Falcon Guitars before graduating high school. Upon high school graduation, Seamus was awarded the Provost Scholarship for academics and Jesús Silva Scholarship for guitar from Virginia Commonwealth University. He became a member of the VCU Guitar Ensemble and eventually had the honor of concertmaster. Throughout his college career he has performed solos and duets in many solo and ensemble recitals. He also performed at college events for the President of the University. Seamus has been making a name for himself by playing wonderful repertoire at weddings, diverse and extensive background music for parties and events, and even takes requests and makes arrangements depending on what his clients are looking for.
