Jonathan Godfrey Classical Guitarist from Sarasota, FL

Award-winning guitarist Dr. Jonathan Godfrey is one of the most sought after guitarists in the Tampa Bay-Sarasota area. He currently serves on the faculty of State College of Florida teaching both classical and jazz guitar and has performed with Gloria Musicae (Choral Artists of Sarasaota), the Asolo Repertory Theatre, and members of the Florida Orchestra, among other important regional ensembles. Since 2014, Godfrey has regularly performed as part of Corda Voce, a guitar-soprano duo lauded for its charming and virtuosic fusion of jazz, cabaret, and classical repertoire (http://*******.**********.***). He holds his Bachelor of Music from LaGrange College, his Master of Music from the Cleveland Institute of Music, and his Doctor of Music from Indiana University. He has been a featured soloist on recordings released by the Education Embassy of Spain and the Indiana University Jacobs School of Music, and has concertized throughout the United States, Canada, and South Korea.
