John Christopher Spoulos was a student of famed classical guitarist Christopher Parkening and Andres Segovia at The University of Southern California as well as Lee Ritenhour and Angel Romero. In addition, he studied with Michael Lorimer at the University of North Carolina and Hector Garcia at The University of NewMexico.. As a teacher of many instruments for the past forty years, he has had successful students from the like of Zakke Wilde of Ozzy Osbourne and Dave Sabo of Skid Row. In addition, he has taught two Grammy Award Nominees and a famous comedian. Within the last year, he had as a student Gianna Ruggerio who is currently known as "Gi" and has done numerous videos with major artists in Los Angeles.
