As a Duo, we have been playing flute and guitar and also recorder and lute for more than 15 years, specializing in gracious, romantic, and elegant music from the Classical, Baroque, and Renaissance eras. We have developed a unique repertoire for our duo by arranging all the music we perform on these instruments.
Although we enjoy separate careers as concert artists, it is our joint love of the same musical genres and the pleasure we receive from sharing and offering this music that inspires us to play and perform together at events, ceremonies, and other celebratory functions.
Music for social gatherings requires a different approach from concerts. Our music creates a harmonious mood appropriate for the occasion, so that guests may listen at their pleasure. The specific Classical, Baroque, and Renaissance music we play was composed precisely for this purpose. We have carefully selected pieces that enhance the atmosphere, enliven the spirit, and stir the emotions that are present at these events. Our music celebrates life and elevates the feelings that accompany auspicious, memorable, and joyful gatherings.
