She later studied jazz guitar with Rodolfo Maltese and Gabriele Spano, renowned Italian guitarists, while at the same time re-exploring the classical genre. After earning a Doctorate in Foreign Languages at the University of Rome, Samantha moved to the United States.
A winner of the GFA Regional Symposium Competition, Samantha has performed at Rose Hall, Lincoln Center and Mannes School of Music, among many other venues, and she's a regular performer at the NYC Classical Guitar Society Member Events. She has twice co-hosted the Sierra Nevada Classical Guitar Festival with Larry Aynesmith and also co-hosted the continuing series “An Evening of Guitar” in New York with guitarist Jon Donnel. With over a million views on her YouTube channel, Samantha's covers of Chick Corea and Django Reinhardt, among other composers, are popular with the guitar audience.
