Mark Covey Classical Guitarist from Santa Barbara, CA

Mark Covey plays the guitar with impeccable cleanliness and expression. His rich tone lends itself generously to the classical guitar repertoire, be it Bach, Debussy, or Albeniz. The music he plays can be graceful and beautiful, or it can be fiery and passionate, making him versatile player for all sorts of events - Weddings, Birthday Parties, Corporate Parties, and fundraisers. Also, he is capable of providing background music or, for a real spectacle, performing a formal full-length recital. Originally from San Antonio, TX, began playing the guitar at the age of 10 and shortly after started studying classical guitar with David Underwood. He earned his BA in music from Pepperdine University where he was a student of Christopher Parkening. Currently residing in Santa Barbara, he is pursuing a graduate degree in Music.
