WOW, if you want to hire a band that has talented musicians who make a party swing, Edgar Gabriel's Stringfusion is the one to hire. They can play all types of music to meet your needs. We hired them to play at our son's wedding reception and they played great cocktail music, dinner music (with Edgar strolling on violin among the dinner tables and also great dance music to top it off. You won't be disappointed and I recommend them highly!
We've worked with a lot of acts for smaller events, but no group has ever been as accommodating as Edgar Gabriel and his array of talented musicians. We have actually hired them for 2 events now, and at each one, they were early, dressed impeccably, self-sufficient, and professional. Edgar is so knowledgeable and experienced in playing for events - he just knows the exact right questions to ask & directions to take. Not to mention, this man knows his music -- he leads a clean, tight, expert band and has a perfect ear for volume. He will make the music portion of your event a BREEZE, and will sound excellent doing it. I cannot thank Edgar & his musicians enough.
Edgar was very accommodating in accomplishing the theme we were looking for. The three musicians were extremely talented, professional and friendly. Our guests provided much positive feedback. The reason for not awarding a perfect five is that there seemed to be more breaks then expected. Overall Edgar was wonderful and we highly recommend him.

Anne, I received only very positive comments at the event, so I was very surprised to read the quote about breaks. We were in such close proximity to the guests that I thought it nice to have a rest from music for a few extra minutes. My apology if this was not the right decision. Also, there was some confusion about my check, so I worked with your assistant during a break to get her information to pay me that night as per our contract. I was busy working during your event and did not notice any substantial downtime. We strive for the best possible experience; I will take your comments into account and be sure to communicate more regarding breaks during an event.
