Recovered Vinyl is a high energy four-piece rockin' party band featuring veterans of hundreds of concerts and festivals. The band members have performed worldwide, at events ranging from intimate get-togethers to large celebrations. We specialize in guitar driven classics from Rock and County to Blues and Soul. Our repertoire features well-loved R&B, rockabilly, and classic rock hits faithfully recreated from artists such as Chuck Berry, The Rolling Stones, Tom Petty, Eric Clapton, The Kinks, Cream, Robin Trower, Don Williams, and many more. Once we start, we have people on their feet and heading for the dance floor. Recovered Vinyl is the brainchild of Steve Clic, a long-time performer on the local and national music scene. Steve is featured on recordings by multiple artists including old school punk legends The Lewd and the San Francisco based prog-rock band Melting Euphoria. Recovered Vinyl also features drummer Jean Fineberg, who co-leads the 17-piece Montclair Women's Big Band. Her credits include saxophone work on platinum and gold albums by David Bowie (Fame), Chic (Freak Out), and Sister Sledge (We Are Family). Jean has also taught Motown and R&B ensembles at the Jazzschool in Berkeley, CA for 15 years. Our powerhouse vocalist, Doug Garfield, has been fronting bands for the past 30 years on stages large and small, and was tapped to sing the national anthem at AT&T Park for a San Francisco Giants opener. Laying down a rock solid foundation on bass is Mike Archer, creating an infectious groove that you just can't help dancing to. We are specialists at reading the mood of your guests and adjusting to the flow of the party. From the planning stages to the event, you can relax and leave the music to us.
