Viva is one of the few groups that performs music from the 50's, 60's, 70's, 80's, 90's, to today. Viva has recorded a number of songs in the past that have made the charts. Such as disco dance hits "Dance the Night Away" and "New York City Here I Come" that hit the top fifty dance charts in the seventies on the record label Sal Soul Records, "Hearts and Flowers" that hit the top fifty pop charts in the seventies recorded on RCA Records.
Viva has also hit the top 100 charts with a remake of "Do You Wanna Dance" and "My Prayer" in the nineties, recorded on the Moon Stone Record label.In the past year Viva has been the opening group for many national recording acts such as The Little River Band, Three Dog Night, America, Lou Gramm of Foreigner, Mike Pinera of Iron Butterfly and Blues Image fame and the Classic Rock All Stars, Gin Blossoms, The Grass Roots, Joan Jett, Molly Hatchett, Jon Secada, Los Lobos, The Guess Who,Bad Company, The Lovin' Spoonful, Jefferson Airplane, Christopher Cross, The Spinners, and The Village People.
Not only has Viva performed for the USO in Germany, we are also featured at the Annual Vietnam Veterans Reunion with the Traveling Wall in Melbourne Florida. We have had an American Flag flown over Iraq in honor of Viva.
