THE BLACKLIGHT PROJECT is a Denver, Colorado based band that performs rock and blues classics – all tunes that inspire mayhem and spark memories of great times in your life. THE BLACKLIGHT PROJECT loves to rock audiences with tunes like 'Alright Now', 'Slow Ride', 'I Feel Good' and 'Never Been Any Reason'. BLACKLIGHT is also extremely versatile and can slow it down with personal favorites like 'Wonderful Tonight', Lights and 'Piece of my Heart'. THE BLACKLIGHT PROJECT's lead singer NANCY FENIMORE captivates with her heartfelt, compelling style and energetic stage presence. Her commanding vocals, a synthesis of both male and female artists from the likes of Ann Wilson, Steve Perry, Janis Joplin, Susan Tedeschi and Steven Tyler among others, personify a 'no-holds-barred' attitude. Nancy sang for White Lie and Ticket, delivering her emotional performances since her college days. Her infectious spirit and passion for rock and blues music will keep you coming back for more. The rhythm section is solidified through the thundering percussion of DEAN 'BUN E' LAGRAVE, the original Sharp Dressed Man! They don't come any nicer than Dino and damn, this man can lay it down. Dean is a gifted drummer who started banging away on the skins at the ripe old age of 7. He can play it all – Rock, Jazz, Blues – you name it. He played with Tapestry in Salt Lake (Dino in a dry town like that??!!). Chicks dig 'da drummers 'ya know, especially when they're this good! Bun E sings some lead and backup, and, well... he's simply some kinda wonderful! Lead guitarist RANDY BERNSTEIN has been pluckin' at the strings for…okay…a LOT of years! Performing in the Denver music scene for over 30 years in bands such as Cliché, Bad Dreams, Total Strangers, The Jokers and Tube Works, he captures the styles and tones made famous by former and current great guitar artists. Randy draws from a wide variety of influences ranging from funk to blues to metal, and can whip out requests like no one's business. He maintains finesse and soul, moving from rhythm to lead with ease and his vocals add dimension to the band. JOHNNY LEE WILSON rounds out BLACKLIGHT's pounding rhythm section on bass guitar and handles occasional lead vocal duties, as well as outstanding harmonies. He cut his musical teeth playing in bands in the Columbus, Ohio area, and is currently a music instructor (6 instruments!). He's having a ball laying down the low end for THE BLACKLIGHT PROJECT, and really digs the fun places where they perform and the fun people who come out to the shows. Oh, and Nancy struggles on her tippy toes to reach his mic when she needs to because....he's really tall.
