They're brilliant and they know how to bring it." —Jim Martin Elwood Moon is a four piece rock band covering songs from the sixties to the present. They cover songs by bands such as The Beatles, Tom Petty, Neil Young, R.E.M., ZZ Top, Kings of Leon and Travis. Their specialty is guitar driven rock, but they can also play gentle and beautiful ballads such as Without You by Harry Nilsson and mellow 70s rock, such as Peaceful Easy Feeling by The Eagles. Members include front man, Chuck Maiden on lead vocals and guitar, Randy Volin on lead vocals and lead guitar, John Perry on drums and Ken Jacoby on bass. Chuck Maiden is a singer/songwriter from Southern California who has two albums to his credit. His music has received international airplay and was once featured on Sirius/XM radio. He has earned songwriting awards and has played shows with the likes of Toad The Wet Sprocket and The Roger Fisher Band. Chuck once fronted Hands, a top Seattle band which was included on The Best of the Northwest compilation album. Randy Volin is also an accomplished singer/songwriter who has released his own albums. He is a virtuoso lead guitarist who excels at, but is not limited to Chicago style blues. He hails from Detroit, Michigan and was once signed to A&M Records with his band, The Look. John Perry is an experienced concert and studio session drummer who has recorded with Rick Springfield and toured with The Mike Curb Congregation. He once performed at The White House. Ken Jacoby is an excellent bass player who has been a fixture on the Ventura and L.A. County club scene for many years. Elwood Moon puts on a show which has to be experienced to be believed. They really bring a magic to each performance. The musicianship and vocals are top notch.
