Church of Tommy Classic Rock Band from San Francisco, CA

Bio: Church of Tommy's John Stanley, David Ewers and Dario Garcia, all long-time San Francisco musicians, have spent the last year getting deep into the music of The Who, especially the rock opera Tommy which they play Live at Leeds style as a power trio. What sets them apart from other Tribute bands is that the musicians are not trying to present as The Who. Their approach to the material is novel. Church of Tommy add their own nuances to the songs, but they really do sound like the Who live circa 1971. If you are lucky enough to catch them live you will not be disappointed. Church of Tommy is a The Who tribute band. We play Tommy live at leeds style plus early Who, through Who's Next material. We are available for gigs in The SF Bay area. We are available for corporate gigs, weddings, birthday parties, festivals and concert venues. We have played extensively in San Francisco, and are starting to book shows all around the Bay area.
