Greetings, My name is Bob Bishop and I have been in the music business for over 35 years. I have several versions of acts to offer including "One Man Band" "Solo Acoustic" "Classic Rock Band" Blues Band" "Rock Duo" "Blues Duo". I perform the songs of many artists including The RollingStones, Eric Clapton, The Band, The Beatles, Bob Dylan, Paul Butterfield , Buffalo Springfield, Ray Charles, Delbert McClinton, Tom Petty, James Taylor, Neil Young, Elvis, and The Everly Brothers, as well as blues legends like Albert King, Little Walter Willie Dixon and others. It's like the history of Rock & Roll meets the Blues.
I can do this as a solo act or with a great group of top-notch professionals. My guitar player, Jon Woodhead has played with the likes of Leon Russell and Maria Muldaur. My drummer, Dave Denering has played with British blues legend Albert Lee among others. My bass player, Ted Jennings and I have played together for over 20 years and I am a professional singer/songwriter guitarist, sax player and blues harmonica player.
I have been a recording artist, producer and arranger and have appeared on many albums over my long career. Oh yes and I'm also the Executive Director of The Private John Woods Foundation and we work with veterans that have PTSD so we are connected to a "higher cause"
so to speak.

Some times life gets a bit hectic and you forget to do reviews. This review is long overdue, only reminded by cleaning out emails. Sorry.
Emailed Bob prior to our wedding to book our reception. He asked to meet us a few weeks in advance to introduce himself as well as get a feel of the type of music we liked. We thought this was great as he wanted to have a connection.
Bob was super professional and easy to work with on the day of the reception. Rocked it for the booked time and plus some. Our party was having such a good time, we added on another hour.
We had some many guests comment on how they loved the band.

First, my apologies to The Bob Bishop Band and Gig Masters for this very late review, late only for the fact that I've been extremely busy since our Fabulous 4th of July Rock N' Roll Event in Ventura, CA...all due to the Fabulous Talent & Performance of The Bob Bishop Band!
I have had great comments from al my neighbors, family & friends who attended this annual event on Hanover Lane, asking if this band was coming back for our 2017 Annual 4th of July event.
Professionally & Personally, The Bob Bishop Band was extremely lively & personable in their performance & music selection that had the crowd dancing in front of the stage!
I've been asked to bring them back.
