Rags to Riches is a band you will definitely want to hire for your next event! We play a variety of styles including Christian Contemporary, '70's, 80's, 90's and current rock, country, jazz fusion, and beach music. We listen to our customers to find out what they really want for their special event and seek to do our best to serve them. We take special requests ahead of time for any songs the client may want to hear that will make their event all that they want it to be. Our band was started by a husband and wife team who both have their degrees in music and have played and sung together for over 30 years. The band's leader and lead singer/guitarist has sung with the Baltimore and Washington Opera companies(among many) and is able draw from a vast array of styles from classical and broadway to rock, country, jazz, and pop. Our vocals and instrumentals are top notch and we infuse the event with so much fun that your guests cannot help but get up and start dancing! Rag to Riches were fabulous! From our initial contact until the actual day of our daughter's wedding Rich Harrison worked with us in planning music, taking requests and offering suggestions. All band members were professional and personable. They provided a wide variety of music which was very entertaining and enjoyable. Even our special requests were executed at the highest level. The sound was clean and crisp and at perfect volume. We highly recommend them for any private or social event. Their expertise added to this joyous occasion. It was our sincere pleasure to have Rags to Riches be a part of our day!
