Nathan Dungan Bagpiper from Nashville, TN

I have actively pursued the bagpipes since the age of 10, taking lessons from world class bagpipe teachers. While in the Army, I performed for Change of Commmand Ceremonies, formal dinners, military funerals and memorial services. Having played for funerals, weddings, stadium concerts with Amy Grant, Michael W. Smith, The Chieftans, and "OAR", I will provide a professional musical experience for your event. I graduated from St. Andrews Presbyterian College in North Carolina, where I received a bagpipe scholarship and played in its nationally recognized pipe band (Saint Andrews Presbyterian College Pipe Band). I am active in Grade 2 solo competitions, and currently lead the Nashville Pipes and Drums as Pipe Major. In addition to the Great Highland bagpipes, I play the Scottish small pipes and reel pipes (aka border pipes) for smaller, more intimate settings. These instruments are also a perfect accompaniment for fiddle or guitar sessions or in venues where the highland bagpipe would be overpowering.
