Take some pub sing-alongs, songs of Irish and Scottish history, a few sea shanties, American folk tunes, then throw in some jigs and reels, and mix with a little bit of Celtic rock and what do you have? The Dustmen, one of Western New York's favorite Irish bands. Jokingly taking their name from an Irish term for street sweepers, the Dustmen's high energy up-tempo version of traditional music brings excitement to pubs, festivals, and parties year round. A staple at local Irish pubs and festivals, The Dustmen have been described by the Buffalo News as "more fun than a barrel of Guinness!"
