Lisa Fairey Cellist from New York City, NY

Hi! I am a solo cellist and singer with over 25 years of experience. I typically play with backing tracks as you will hear in the video demo, and/or completely solo cello without any backing. However adding a pianist, a trio or other instrumentation is welcome, too. My speciality and uniqueness is the sound you hear in the demo video - jazz and latin standards where I sing the melody and then play a lovely cello solo. Though I have a list of songs I regularly play, I am happy for requests and suggestions of songs you would like to be played/sung. I live in Manhattan but am happy to travel outside of the city. Weddings, receptions, corporate and catered events, charity events, hotel lobbies and restaurants are all events I have provided music for. Because I regularly sing and play with tracks, I do have an amplifier and all equipment for a small room. For larger functions, it is usually not a problem to plug into the DJ's equipment. I also write songs including custom ones. In the audio section I've added three of my original tunes called "Your Eyes", "I Like Bein Me" and "All My Kisses".
