Crocodile Island is a trio with steel drums/percussion, vocalist/drummer, and vocalist/7-string guitarist. While we specialize in Caribbean Island music, from calypso to reggae, we also play Latin styles, from Santana to Estefan, Brazilian bossa-nova and samba, and, with the addition of sax/flute (or substituting a horn player for steel drums), we can play a variety of jazz styles, from Swing to Latin to Nouveau Flamenco. Experienced musicians all, we have performed around the world, from concerts and festivals to weddings, country clubs and corporate events. The wide range of styles allows Crocodile Island to play superb smooth, unobtrusive dinner music, then turn up the heat for dancing the Limbo, Samba, Salsa, or free-form rock styles, as well as high-energy swing and Elvis-era oldies if requested.
