We were very pleased with the East Coast pan Collective! All of our guests loved them and are still talking about them. They created the atmosphere that we wanted for our cocktail hour. We will definitely use them again!

Wedding ReceptionReviewed on September 14, 2009From Ocean View, DE

Colin & Joseph were TERRIFIC!I really enjoyed their talent & lovely music. My wedding day was complete with the "island sounds" that they provided at the beach ceremony. I would highly reccomend them. They were also EXTREMELY, fairly priced.Very, nice gentlemen. There was no problem getting in touch with them. They always called you right back or contacted you quickly by email. We even had to change the reception location the night before b/c of the big storm that made my parents flood.Hire East Coast Pan Collective for your next event, you won't be disappointed, they are GREAT!

CelebrationReviewed on July 12, 2010From Bethesda, MD

I was very disappointed, for the amount I paid I thought he would play longer and break less. He should have gone in another room to break, but he stood around eating where all the guests were eating. We should have communicated better beforehand...I really wanted background music while we were inside unwrapping gifts and he stopped, it was hot outside, but that is what I paid for and bought an umbrella for. there should have been background noise, when he stopped playing, there was just too much dead noise for a 3 hour party. He was very nice and the quality of the music was very good. He did arrive early and was set up and ready on time.

:

After playing for 30 minutes to empty deck chairs, the client's sister invited me inside to escape the heat. I then played another 30 minutes for a good number of people followed by 15 minutes of playing for nobody again. No one came outside the remainder of the time booked, and all doors and windows were shut (understandably to keep the inside air-conditioned) Frustrated by the heat and the lack of audience, I did not play a third set. I learned to always stick to the contract no matter the circumstance. The relationship between audience and performer is symbiotic. Musicians need the presence of an audience or the act is futile. I offered a substantial refund.
