You are an experienced software developer with a passion for technology. You are focused on writing clean, well-tested code for a high-traffic web environment.
You can not only implement a feature, but be involved with the project definition and be willing to innovate. You embrace the use of new technologies and don’t use the same tool for every job.
Our work environment is fast paced, high energy, and highly collaborative. Developers are expected to work cohesively with the Product team to help determine feature sets, scope, and the best possible solutions to problems – and then implement them. We use GitHub and take Pull Requests seriously. We develop real-world projects in phases within a defined process and ship often with our automatic build server and deployment process.
GigMasters.com was founded in 1997, so technically we're not a startup, but the fun atmosphere, fast-paced work environment and regular happy hours kind of make us feel like one. We're a tight-knit group. We hold regular company events, and we believe in celebrating company milestones. Yes, we have a ping pong table, and we close early on Fridays in the summer, but it is teamwork, passion, and hard work that truly define us.
Benefits include excellent Medical, Dental, Vision, & 401k matching after 90 days. Paid company smartphone after one year. Our office is in South Norwalk, Connecticut, close to the train station and a ton of great restaurants and bars.
