Boardwalk Brass Quintet is an ensemble based out of Santa Monica, CA available for Oktoberfest, wedding ceremonies, private parties, patriotic events, concerts, etc... Our group consists of military musicians with experience in military ceremonies, funerals, and memorials. We can also provide taps.
Our repertoire consists of pop, Motown, classic rock, classical, holiday/Christmas, jazz, dixieland, childrens, patriotic, and more.
The Boardwalk Brass Quintet was founded by trumpet player Jenny Griffith, a former US Marine Band member. She is joined by Gerald Lockwood on trumpet who is currently a member of the Air National Guard Band of the West Coast. Laura Weiss, french horn, is also a member of the Air Nat'l Guard Band and Disney performer. Tracy Adams, euphonium, is a former US Marine Band member and member of several symphonic wind groups. Prichard Pierce, tuba, is a member of several groups, including the Southern California Brass Consortium and is also an educator for several southern california music programs.
Our group can often be found performing at the Santa Monica Pier, promenade, and boardwalk, providing an energetic and eclectic show for locals and tourists. For a schedule of upcoming shows, please go to our Facebook page.
