Born and raised in San Francisco, California, Carol Stallings is a seasoned vocalist who was privileged to have been raised in an exceptionally musical family. In high demand, she has performed at several venues and for numerous events, including jazz clubs, festivals, corporate events and more.
Having performed professionally for a few decades, Carol has mastered blues, jazz, R&B and pop music genres. She has performed throughout the United States and internationally, and collaborated with world-renowned musicians and vocalists such as
Martha Reeves, Tata Vega, Cher, Stevie Wonder and Santana, among others. As well, she was one of a trio of background singers for Englebert Humperdinck, touring the world 30 weeks out of each year.
Carol recently released her first solo CD titled “The Best is Yet to Come,” accompanied by instrumental greats Grant Levin (pianist), Chris Amberger (bassist), Neil Stallings (guitarist) and Mark Lee (drummer).
The multi-talented songstress performs several times a year as a special guest vocalist for “Yancie Taylor's Sunday Jazz Concert and Jam Session" at Geoffrey's Inner Circle in downtown Oakland. Accompanied by some of the Bay Area's greatest jazz musicians, Carol has established a loyal following of fans who always want to know where she'll perform next; her audience continues to grow and enjoy her extraordinary gift of song.
