Havens Edge Blues Band from Victoria, TX

HAVENS EDGE is a blues based rock and blues band. Lots of hits from the 70's and early 80's with our bluesy edge and sound. Come listen to your favorites like Mustang Sally and Free Fallin to Eric Clapton and Stevie Ray Vaughn. And don't forget greats like Pretty Woman and My Girl. We play very little country and no Tejano. We are strictly what we say. Lots of Blues and many of your favorite hits from the early 70's through the mid 80's. We are willing to learn songs for those who request however we are only willing to do so if we as a band agree we can do said song justice. We are prepared to make sure any song you request will be played at time requested. You will not have to provide this music unless it's something impossible to find. We are a 3 piece band comprised of Fred Whisenhunt (Owner, Lead Singer, Lead Guitar), Victor Torres (Drummer) and Adam Ardner (Bass/Back upvocals). Fred - From Oklahoma. Has lived in Victoria Texas for over twenty years. Found the stage at the young age of 14 and never looked back. Fred has worked musically in the Victoria area for over ten years and is well known and respected amid his would be peers. Adam - From Chicago. Currently the head band director for one of our prominent high schools here in Victoria Texas. He is studied music for many years and is currently studying to acquire his PHD in music. Victor - Vic studied at South Texas and established himself years ago in this area as one of the best drummers to have on stage! After almost 5 years as a once a week or twice a month band we decided to make some changes and play the way we really want and what we really want. Formerly we were called The Remedy as the music was our Remedy. But we wanted a total change and so came much thought and eventually the name Havens Edge. For us, music is our Haven and the stage is our Edge. This is what sets us free. Our music is clean and so are our gigs. We are well aware of the many different types of politics that can be required of us as a band. We don't believe in drama of any kind!!! We believe in a trouble free experience for you.
