The Bear Williams Band (GVR Records) is a High Energy Original Contemporary Blues Group consisting of five musicians and three background singers. The group's music is a refreshing cross between Chicago Blues meshed with Country and Rock. Chicago Native Bear Williams aka (Larry Kimpel) fronts the group as it's Lead Singer, Songwriter, Bass Player and Producer. Bear's professional credentials in the music industry are extensive. In addition to fronting BWB, Bear is the Bass Player and Musical Director for the Platinum selling R&B group Frankie Beverly and Maze. The Bear Williams Band has captivated audiences at the Chicago Blues Fest, Buddy Guy's Legends, Navy Pier, Rosa's Lounge, Evanston Rock's, and B.L.U.E.S. on Halsted.
