The Blue News is an American indie blues, folk and rock band formed by singer-songwriter and guitarist Jas. Bjorn (aka "JB"). JB is a music producer, multi-instrumentalist, music publisher and the owner of recording label Blame Records USA, 2BLUNT Productions, and RAZR EDGE DJ & Live Sound Productions. Over the span of his 25-year music career JB has recorded several artists performing Pop, Rock, EDM, Country, Hip Hop, Soul, Chill House, Singer-Songwriter and more! The other half of the songwriting duo The Blue News, Dustin Richardson, is now based in Nashville, TN where he can be found engineering and mixing hit music nonstop at the House of Blues Studios Nashville!

JB and Dusty have written several songs since 2008 that have become popular due to both loyal fans and several high-exposure song placements for television, video games, films and more - including the song "Running Back To You" heard in the Season 2 Premiere of the Netflix original series "Bloodline" and; "Stay Gone For Good," featured in a street-art installation for an ESPN live interactive game in downtown New York! All in all, the band has amassed dozens of placements for their original songs.

The band is now accepting dates for their upcoming tour. Contact the band's management for more information on event booking. Pricing includes full band including 4 musicians + travel. Accommodations and live sound backline production must be negotiated ahead of securing event dates.
