The Lafayette Station Band from Fredericksburg, VA was formed by bassist Russ Kidd. The band's goal is to bring energetic Chicago, Texas, Delta, Jump, and Louisiana Swamp Blues music. The personnel for Lafayette Station are: Greg Harding, Guitar/Vocals; David Hancock, Drums/Percission; Lorri Ward, Vocals; Mark Anderson/Guitar, Banjitar, Mandolin Russ Kidd, Bass/Vocals.
The band performs energetic sets in one hour, thirty minute increments. Lafayette Station can expand to include a three piece horn section. We cover artist from Stevie Ray Vaughan to Neville Brothers. From The Fabulous Thuderbirds to Louis Jordan. Muddy Waters to Robert Johnson; Bonnie Raitt to Etta James.
