Fade to Blues may be located in the Adirondack mountains of northern New York but their hearts belong to Texas! Their brand of original blues is steeped in the traditions of the great Texas blues guitar players such as; Johnny Winter, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Billy Gibbons, Albert Collins, Earl, Albert and Freddie King and many others. They "rock the house" to it's foundation with incendiary guitar, infectious grooves and a show that may include guitar assault and destruction!
Fade to Blues knows how to play to a room. Whether it's an earlier dinner crowd or late night drinkin' crowd, we've been pleasing audiences and club owners for many years. We are seasoned older musicians (with different degrees of hearing loss) and therefore wish to preserve what hearing we have left. We don't like playing real loud. Our amplifiers are low powered and tiny. We can set up in an amazingly small space especially as a trio. We are not heavy drinkers but if a customer wants to buy the band a round we order top shelf, not beer (whether we drink it or not). We do not get on stage in our dirty, day to day work clothes because we are there to put on a show. When people are on the dance floor, we do not stop. We play and act like professionals when performing at your venue or event.
