Inspired by great American musical ensembles such as the Del McCoury Band, Little Feat and the Greatful Dead, the Yankee Pedlars driven pursuit of melody interwoven by rhythm created by banjo, violin, guitar, bass results in breathtaking arrangements that stir the soul and free the mind!  Primarily Americana in nature, the genres covered by the band include American bluegrass, blues, and country mixed with traditional Irish tunes by Turloch O'Carolan and others, Scottish, Welsh, French Canadian, Nova Scotian and New England Contra; as well as folk songs from the great American Folk history - many of them from the Pioneer Valley area.
