Red Rock Ramblers Bluegrass Band from Las Vegas, NV

Jim Damele, guitar, lead and harmony vocals, has played with several bands in California before moving to Las Vegas in 2004. He enjoys playing different styles of music as well as bluegrass. A multi-instrumentalist, he plays mandolin, tenor guitar and tenor banjo in the Sagebrush and Shamrocks Contra Dance Band, and the Melanie Spector Trio. He is lead guitar and vocals with Jimmy Cantrell and Black Train. He has played as an accompanist and featured vocalist for the Nevada Old-Time Fiddlers Association at various performances throughout the Las Vegas Valley. Laraine Kaizer-Viazovtsev of Peoria, IL earned her Bachelor's, Master's, and Doctor of Musical Arts Degrees in violin performance with a violin pedagogy minor from Bradley University, Peoria, IL studying with Marcia Henry (1998);Indiana University in Bloomington, IN studying with Mauricio Fuks (2000); University of Cincinnati, OH studying with Kurt Sassmannshaus (2004) respectively. Laraine's specialty is improvising in a wide variety of styles and creating "arrangements" on the spot for recordings using her home studio. She served as part-time faculty teaching violin at UNLV 2009-2011, was a member of Celine Dion's Las Vegas Orchestra 2011-2014, the fiddler player in the band for Duck Commander the Musical April 2015, and the invited violin soloist with the Peoria Bach Festival Orchestra in June 2015. Currently Laraine is a violinist in the Las Vegas Philharmonic, free lance "strolling violinist," and a member of the Arab Music Ensemble of Las Vegas and the Red Rock Ramblers. He was a member of the Midnight Riders which won the Academy of Country Music Band of the Year as well as a member of the Western Union band which won the Marlboro Country Countdown. He has played in several bluegrass, country and country rock bands over the years in Georgia, California and Nevada Kevin Stout - mandolin, guitar, dobro, banjo. Kevin as a multi-instrumentalist plays trombone as well. He currently plays guitar in the Wynn Resorts production, "Showstoppers." Bill Bailey - Staff Bassist at Desert Inn in the 80's performing with artists such as Mel Torme, Anthony Newley, Juliet Prowse, Jerry Lewis and various Broadway Productions such as A Chorus Line and Sophisticated Ladies. Freelanced as Bassist with a variety of stars like Steve Lawrence and Edye Gorme, Diane Carroll, Vic Damone, Luciano Pavarotti, Andrea Bocelli. Played with the Las Vegas Symphony, the Las Vegas Philharmonic, has played numerous local productions, and is currently Principal Bassist with the Nevada Chamber Symphony and freelances playing regularly with Jazz, Blues, Zydeco, and Bluegrass groups! Also has been enshrined in the Las Vegas "Fan's Entertainment Hall of Fame".
