Honeywood is a five-piece bluegrass jam band from Atlanta. The group of new and veteran players performs a mix of original songs, choice covers and classic tunes inspired by bluegrass, cajun, funk, jazz, Grateful Dead and jam bands. This family-friendly electric-acoustic band is perfect for neighborhood parties, private events, barbeques, festivals, restaurants, music venues, campouts, corporate events, formal occasions and more. Honeywood features hot pickin' on fiddle, mandolin, banjo, guitar, bass and drums (also available as an acoustic 4-piece), sweet harmonies and deep grooves. Honeywood seamlessly blends musical genres into a unique sound suitable for dancing, toe-tapping and head-bobbing. Honeywood is Atlanta's homegrown jamgrass band!

Working with Honeywood is easy and hassle-free. We can provide our own sound system or play through an existing PA. Indoors or out, big or small, Honeywood can deliver the perfect sonic backdrop for your event that creates a lively atmosphere while encouraging guests to converse and interact. There's something for everyone to enjoy - the band plays songs and styles that can be enjoyed by people of all ages. The members of Honeywood pride themselves on top-notch musicianship, professionalism and throwing a great party!

Honeywood is Jason Koornick (mandolin/banjo/vocals), Jacques Dolan (fiddle), Russell Brown (guitar/vocals), Scott Balun (bass) and Zach Harmison(drums).

The band was on time they were very professional as well as accommodating to our special circumstances. The guys became involved in occasion and became part of the family so to speak. I would recommend them to anyone that truly loves Blue Grass music and the heritage from which it comes.
