We are so glad we booked Backporch to play our ceremony and cocktail hour! These guys are extremely accommodating and awesome to work with. All of our guests commented on their great sound and song selections. Looking back, we wish we had booked them to play even longer!

Rehearsal Dinner•Reviewed on September 17, 2013•From Chimney Rock, NC
Backporch Bluegrass blew us away and exceeded our highest expectations at our son's recent wedding rehearsal dinner. I can’t imagine a more festive dinner engagement than what these guys provided with their music.
Exceptional musicians. Vocals were spot on....repertoire was outstanding....and can these guys play (e.g., banjo, guitar, upright bass, mandolin, fiddle, etc.)...wow!!!.
Hiring this group for a gig will show your friends that you really know blue grass talent when you hear it!
Restaurant Event•Reviewed on July 27, 2012•From Fort Mill, SC
This was the first for me. We have had plenty of themed buffet dinners but never one where we incorporated live music. I was very nervous! David was very friendly, easy to work with and their fee was very reasonable! They showed up in plenty of time to set up and their performance was a hit with everyone who attended! We will definitely be contacting them again for our next Low Country Boil!!!
Community Event•Reviewed on May 6, 2011•From Gaffney, SC
My experience with this band was phenomenal. The whole show--from setup, to "tear-down"--went smoothly. I would definitely recommend them to a friend/peer/neighboring community/organization, and I will likely try to have them back for another show in the future.
Fraternity Function•Reviewed on October 28, 2009•From Chapel Hill, NC
We had BackPorch Bluegrass at a Fraternity cocktail, with a bluegrass theme. While the music was a little difficult to dance to, as bluegrass inherently is, it was still a lot of fun and they were the perfect band for the occasion. Everyone loved their rendition of Wagon Wheel and they created a great atmosphere for the cocktail. It was less dancing and more talking than usual, but I certainly can't complain about talking to my date and the other guys. We all had a great time.
