Ruby is a solo, mainly improvisational, bellydancer who is able to perform in a wide variety of settings to either recorded or live music. She is accustomed to performing improvisational style in clubs for extended multiple shows or single sets up to one hour with costume and prop changes. Her energetic performances blend modern Turkish styling with an American Classic flair; she is known for her amazing floor dancing and fluidity in movement. Ruby enjoys working with finger cymbals, veil, double veil, 4-yard veil, goblets, sword and Gypsy stylization. Ruby has recently won several competitive titles including: 2009 Bellydancer USA 2008 East Coast Bellydance Classic "Grand Champion" 2008 Emerald Rain Bellydance Contest "1st Place"
