I had the opportunity to meet with Katya in person - for dinner actually! We both wanted to get to know each other and she took the time to get to know what my vision was and also gave her professional opinion and shared her experiences. If you are interested in having a middle eastern band or dancers, she has a ton of contacts. She kept in touch leading up to the wedding, and made sure the music was to our taste. She offered to do an entrance with me and my husband in addition to the 3 dance set - and that was awesome! Love her and would definitely recommend her to anyone. She is such a beautiful dancer and great entertainer. Definitely best in Indiana!

Absolutley stunning. Katya is the most beautiful bellydancer in the whole world!!! The guests at my son's wedding were left speechless. I am an Egyptian mother, and bellydance is a part of our culture. I was very picky when choosing a dancer, and Katya was the only one in the area who fit my criteria. She sets a very high standard, as her costumes were all custom-made, her hair and makeup were flawless, her body was fit and feminine, and her personality was just as sparkly as her style. We worked for months on getting the music for her show just right; she was flawless in every aspect of the booking. Her heart is as big as her talent. Katya is the real thing.

Katya was by far the best of the best. So professional and very talented. She gave the wedding a taste of its own. Everyone loved her performances. The night turned magical when Katya appeared with lighted Isis wings for her first dance. So breathtakingly beautiful…her performance was flawless and enchanting. Katya is a gracious young woman, so professional and personable. We spoke several times before her performance of July 4th to discuss every detail of the night and to choose her beautiful, exquisite costume. How joyous when she invited the little girl cousins (3-9 yrs.) to join her. She had agreed ahead of time and my niece purchased hip shaker scarves for the girls to wear and it would be the highlight of the evening to see them enjoy the dancing so much. Thank you Katya! We just loved you!

My first reaction to Katya bid was OMG she is expensive, but because my husband was turning 50 I thought I would go for it. I could not have been happier with Katya, her performance was outstanding, she was the life of the party, she was so professional with everything she done. Her performance, costumes and beauty was worth the money. I would not hesitate to hire her again. My husband absolutely loved it. The party was over a week ago and people are still talking about it. All I can say is if you are hesitating to hire her rest assured she is worth it! Thanks Katya for a job well done!

I hired Katya for a belly dancing surprise at our wedding. Belly dancing is a tradition from back home that I grew up with and I know good belly dancing when I see it. Katya is beautifuly and did an amazing job communicating the music with her dance. She not only performed well, but brought my wife and I into it, along with energizing our guests. She was flexible with coming to Chicago for our wedding and her fee ws very reasonable. She was a total hit and we would highly recommend her and definitely hire her again.

Beautiful, talented and handles herself professionally.
We had a weenie roast in mom and dads back yard for my brothers 50th bday. The kids were mesmerized by her moves and costume. The adults enjoyed clean entertainment.
This was very different (out of the box) for us but I have to say the birthday boy could not stop grinning and everyone talked about it all night.
We set up a stage in the back yard not far from the bon fire and under the pergola with lights strung across the top for ambiance. When Katya was finished some of the little girls were on the stage trying to rein act her routine. That was entertainment in its self.

Katya went above and beyond my request. After reading several recommendations on her I decided to go ahead and book Katya For my husband surprise birthday party. She made the whole process easy from the moment I choose her. I had constant communication with her with any questions I might have. And she always responded promptly. She arrived right on schedule and everything ran smoothly. Everyone at the party loved the show even the children enjoyed watching her dance. Katya's Performance was family-friendly and fun. Katya was phenomenal! We hired her to give a group of ladies a lesson for a bachelorette party. She immediately came up with a plan for the event, which included a 15 minute show followed by an hour lesson. Her performance was fantastic! The lesson after was in-depth and fun. She taught us all sorts and then put it together in a group dance we can use at the wedding. She's passionate about her work and teaching it to others. We had an absolute blast! She even gave the bride a CD to take home.
In addition to being a great dancer and teacher, she immediately returned calls and emails. She also drove 4 hours each way for our event. Katya's awesome!

Katya was fabulous! If you need a belly dancer at your party or event I would very very highly recommend her. She is very professional, beautiful and talented. Really enjoyed having Katya perform for my group! Her dancing was beautiful and so was her costume. Everyone enjoyed her dancing and spent some time talking with her and getting to know her. Katya was great at engaging our audience and put on amazing show. She taught the guests different dances and got everyone on their feet. it is a very interactive show. All the student said they had a great time.
When you hire her give her as much details about your event as possible. She is very accommodating and just wants to make the performance the best that it can be for everyone.

Katya was great to work with! She was very flexible and excited to help out with the event. We asked her to dress more modestly for the crowd that we had and she did an excellent job. She dressed very appropriately and honored our request. You can tell she really loves what she does which makes her dancing even better. She was very informative about the history of her dance and about how it was used. She made the event very fun and enjoyable and got the audeince involved. Everyone that was there really enjoyed her talent. Katya was very personable and easy to talk to. I would love to have her back for another event and would strongly reccommend her!

We hired Katya to dance at my daughter's wedding reception in January. Katya was extremely helpful during the planning for the event and in selecting the music for her dance and was a pleasure to work with. She is a very talented artist and our guests enjoyed her performance tremendously. While she encouraged audience participation in the latter part of her dance, I would have preferred involving the guests sooner and probably should have made that request ahead of time. Overall, I believe that Katya is one of the BEST dancers in this area, and I would definitely hire her again for other occasions.
