Gary Snead Classical Quartet from Richmond, VA

I'm a singer, songwriter, and acoustic performer, specializing in "Tropicana" (Tropical Americana) originals, as well as covers of Jimmy Buffett, Bob Marley, Kenny Chesney, Zac Brown, Van Morrison, Johnny Cash, Blake Shelton, Bob Dylan, Dave Loggins, James Taylor and John Prine, to name just a few. In addition to solo appearances, I am the lead singer and front man for my acoustic guitar duo, Ron & Gary, and for my acoustic trio, Gary Snead and Sandbar, featuring two acoustic guitars with Ron McCarthy on lead and me on rhythm, and an authentic custom crafted "steel pan" played by career music instructor and classical musician, Janet Reiner. For added accompaniment, the trio can expand to a quartet, with the addition of the vocal, guitar, mandolin, and harmonica talents of Joey Philpott. Lastly, since 1997, I have been the frontman for the Richmond, Virginia based Jimmy Buffett Tribute Band, B2B. With myself as lead singer, and with Ron McCarthy on acoustic guitar, Roy Covington on lead electric guitar, Patrick Porter on electric bass, Bill Ramsey on keyboards, Bryan Rice on drums, and Bruce Truckner on percussion and background vocals, B2B has brought the Jimmy Buffett concert experience to venues along the Atlantic Seaboard as diverse as Lake George and Southampton, New York, Gaithersburg, Salisbury, and Hagerstown, Maryland, Vienna and Virginia Beach, Virginia, Charlotte, North Carolina, and Greenville, South Carolina, and from Pensacola to Key West, Florida...We've traveled across the Appalachians to Franklin and Nashville, Tennessee, and made forays into our nation's heartland as far as Columbus, Ohio. From a solo performance, to the seven man "Buffett" show, I'd love to have an opportunity to serve you!
