Uncle Buzz and the Sunburners Beach Band from Marlton, NJ

It's happy hour somewhere. Happy hour is wherever The Sunburners and I are playing and singing the songs you know by heart. Whether it is a backyard BBQ or happy hour at your local tavern, our band is going to bring smiles to the faces of your listeners. We are lifelong musicians. Individually we have played every type of gig in every genre imaginable. Now we have joined forces to play the music we love to play. Summer music fills out the bulk of our setlist: Jimmy Buffett, Bob Marley, Jack Johnson, Bruce Springsteen, Willie Nelson, Zac Brown and so on... But with hundreds of songs ready to go, we can match many requests from Paul Simon to the Temptations to one hit wonders and even into the classic rock book of The Band, Van Morrison, the Eagles, and others. Everything we do is with a twist of lime and we treat old familiar songs with a new flavor. The greatest asset of the Sunburners is our flexibility. The musicians I bring with me are from all walks of life, with one common element - we like to play music that makes people happy. While we are far from a Jimmy Buffett tribute band, if requested we can play that music, and love playing it, all night long. Or we can tailor a more rock and roll or country setlist. We are not, and never wanted to be, a note for note cover band. There are plenty of them out there and they all fall short of sounding like "the real thing". What we do is play songs everyone at the party can sing along to, chill to, dance to or just tap your foot to while catching up with old friends. We all have experience as jazz musicians as well and can switch gears and styles at a simple request. We are musicians, music teachers and music professionals.
