Supertonic Barbershop Quartet from Toronto, ON

Supertonic is a contemporary A Cappella quartet specializing in the barbershop style. With all four members coming from 2013 International World Champion chorus, Toronto Northern Lights, this foursome started together in January 2014, and immediately qualified for the Barbershop Harmony Society's International Quartet Competition in Las Vegas, Nevada. They have shared the stage with Canadian recording artist Justin Hines, and performed for Kevin Olusola of Pentatonix, and James Malinchak of Secret Millionaire fame. With a variety of music styles, Supertonic is a quartet that can suit their songlist to your event. Chris Arnold is our bass and is the current director for the Grand Harmony Chorus in Kitchener, ON. He is a former Associate Director of Toronto Northern Lights and owner of Quick Start Vocal Productions , a company providing private voice lessons as well as customized learning tracks for vocal groups. Patrick Brown is our lead, combining 20 years of theatre experience with his experience in a capella and barbershop. He has coached groups around the world, including the US, Germany and Holland. Chris Scappatura is our baritone and is a professional motivational speaker and personal coach. He has worked with and mentored countless people throughout North America, including Kevin Olusola of Pentatonix and James Malinchak of Secret Millionaire. Jordan Travis, our tenor, has a degree in vocal music and is a director for three competitive choruses, including Toronto Northern Lights and 2013 Harmony Inc International Champion, A Capella Showcase. He is a certified singing judge in the Barbershop Harmony Society and owns The Complete Singer, a company providing private voice lessons and coaching to groups around the world.
